Undergraduate Research and Projects

Research

At Illinois, I worked with Professor Jose Schutt-Aine and Professor Andreas Cangellaris on electromagnetic simulations and modeling for my senior thesis. Slides from my presentation at the ECE Undergraduate Research Symposium can be found here.

Projects

ECE 483 - Analog IC Design

Schematic design of a Low Dropout Regulator using Cadence Virtuoso. Report found here.

ECE 457 - Microwave Devices and Circuits

Schematic design using ADS and microstrip board design using Momentum:

ECE 447 - Active Microwave Circuit Design

While ECE 457 dealt with passive microwave circuits, this course and its lab component covered active microwave circuits, specifically low noise and power amplifiers. An in-progress, brief summary of our amplifier design for the lab component of the course can be found here.

ECE 385 - Digital Systems Lab

My partner, Patrick John Wang, and I created our own iteration of the iOS App, Banana Kong, in SystemVerilog for our final project. Video found here.
